Just booked tickets to Miami

I just booked a trip to Miami in December. Actually, it is the first work trip, that I will be going on with my new job, which is why I am utterly excited. My team and I will be there an entire week for a very exciting project. Of course, I can’t say anything about that part of the trip at the moment. What I can say is that we will also attend Art Basel, which is actually one of the reasons why we are having this project in Miami. Art Basel is one of the most important art shows in the Americas, and the place to be for not only the art industry, but also for the fashion creatives.

I look very much forward to spending a week in Miami, a place in the U.S. I have not been to, yet. My plan is to take one extra day to explore the city, so please hit me up with any tips you might have.

Even though this universe is mostly dedicated my traveling heart, I cannot help also showing you some aspects of my life in Copenhagen, especially my “new” job and my “new” home. So I hope you will enjoy that this space is not strictly a travel site, but kept a causal sphere for everything I like to share. ;)

On September 1 I started a new job within my company. A job that I had been longing for, for a long time, and worked really hard to get. At times it was frustrating and I have been at the edge of feeling super stressed, as I had taken on so much extra tasks to show that I am right for the job. Now it has been sealed and signed - what a relieve - and you are “looking” at the new ‘Event & Project Manager’ at CIFF. I am so happy with my new tasks, the new title and the opportunities, as well as challenges that go along with it. This is the beginning of a pretty amazing journey. The past few weeks have already been exciting, and one of the highlights was the Baum und Pferdgarten SS19 collection preview event my colleague took me to:

The showroom is one of the most stunning rooms I have seen in Copenhagen, very majestic, furnished with colorful chairs and sofas, as well as with exceptional beautiful wallpaper suiting the new collection, which also represents a colorful universe, very well. Furthermore, Helle Høgsbro Krag curated a beautiful brunch table into the last detail. I mean, just look at that statement flower bouquet. The baked goods came from Lille Bakery - a place that has been on my personal wishlist for quiet a while, and now I know that I have missed out, and the bakery is even higher on the must-visit list. All in all, a very well executed, thoughtful and detail-oriented, yet casual event.
